Assoc. Prof. Dr Hoang Anh Tuan expressed his thanks to the two international volunteers Katrine and Rekka and said, this class had been a good opportunity for USSH's students to improve their English capacity. He hoped after this course, the students would be able to raise their skills and make plans to use English everyday. He also said goodbye to the volunteers and hoped the next course would be just as successful.
Dr. Pham Huy Cuong said in the coming time, the University would hold more foreign language classes for its students. Students making great progress are expected to become volunteers for the next classes.
With the aim of supporting USSH's students in raising foreign language skills, CASA together with the Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) organized this free English communication course. It was started on March 27th, 2018 with the support of two volunteers from the International Volunteers Program monitored by CSDS: Katrine Friis Andersen and Rebekka Boe Hove from Denmark, attracting 120 students split into 6 classes and lasted for 7 weeks from March 27th to May 11th, 2018.
The course was the first step in the cooperation between USSH and CSDS VN. It also provided students with essential soft skills in daily life.
