Thursday - 24/01/2019 21:17
On January 24th, 2019, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh (USSH's Rector) welcomed and worked with the delegation from Laval University led by Mrs. Sophie D'Amours (Rector).

At the meeting, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh introduced about USSH's strategy of internationalization and extending international relations. In relation to Canada, the University has performed many useful activities, such as welcoming high-level politians including former Canadian Governor General David Johnston and Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne, as well as famous Canadian speakers such as Ivan Coyote; promoting the study, teaching, and translating of materials on Canada and Canadian people; and maintaining cooperation with Canada's universities such as Humber College and Langara University.

With Laval University, USSH is planning a number of activities such as holding specialized conferences and seminars with the participation of lecturers and researchers from the former; exchanging students and learners; and especially developing a joint master's program in International Relations. Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh said the two universities have plenty of prospects for cooperation thanks to the similarities in such majors as international relations and political science.
