Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr Hoang Anh Tuan sent his happy new year wishes to the international students. The Vice Rector said the students should spend their time in Vietnam not only improving Vietnamese proficiency but also visiting historical and cultural sites in Hanoi to understand more about the country. He hoped in the future, they will become the cultural ambassadors that contribute to promoting the Sino-Vietnam bilateral relations.

On behalf of the lecturers at Faculty of Linguistics, Assoc.Prof.Dr Trinh Cam Lan (Vice Dean) expressed her empathy with the difficulties and homesickness faced the international students during their time in Vietnam. She encouraged them to have an optimistic outlook to overcome the obstacles and develop their love for the Vietnamese language in their current study and future career.

The time at USSH as well as in Vietnam brings them unforgettable memories as they study about the country and people of Vietnam. They promised to further improve their Vietnamese proficiency and knowledge of the country about which they will talk to their friends and families back home.
