Meeting with the delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China)

On November 27th, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr Hoang Anh Tuan (USSH's Vice Rector) welcomed and worked with the delegation from Guangxi University of Science and Technology (China) led by Prof. Deng Xinh Hua (Head of Office for International Cooperation and Exchanges, Dean of the International Education College). Also participating in the meeting were representatives of USSH's Faculty of Linguistics and Office for Cooperation and Development.

At the meeting, the two sides continued the discussions started during the visit by USSH's delegation to Guangxi University of Science and Technology on July 10th, 2018; as well the visit to USSH by the latter's delegation on August 14th, 2018.

Specifically, the two universities will hold an international conference on teaching Marxist-Leninist ideas. The conference will take place on May 15th-16th, 2019 at Liuzhou, Guangxi and gather 40-50 participants, including 20 Vietnamese scholars, scientists and researchers. The selected papers will be published altogether as a book or a reference. At the meeting, leaders of the two sides discussed and agreed on such issues as the number of participants, presentation length, expenses, publication process, languages and other matters.

The two sides also discussed about student exchanges. Accordingly, USSH would send selected students majoring Social work to study at Guangxi University of Science and Technology. The latter would send students to the former to study Vietnamese language and other subjects on Vietnamese culture and society.
