Participating in the ceremony were Mr. Asazumma Shinichi (Envoy of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam), Mrs. Nagura Kazuko (Deputy Chief Representative of JETRO in Hanoi), Mr. Yasutsugu Iwamura (General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam), Mr. Ishikawa Tadahiko (Regional Manager of AEON Vietnam in Hanoi), Mr. Honda Yosei (General Secretary of AEON 1% Club), Prof. Dr Pham Quang Minh (USSH's Rector), Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Quang Lieu (USSH's Dean of Office for Politics and Student Affairs).
This was the 7th time AEON Corporation had granted scholarships for USSH's students according to its official agreement with the University. Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr. Honda Yosei said the scholarship's goal is to support Vietnamese students in their study and research affairs, thereby tightening Vietnam-Japan friendly bilateral relations.

AEON granted scholarships for students of USSH, Foreign Trade University and Vietnam National University of Agriculture. Representing the beneficiaries, Miss Bui Nhat Linh (USSH's Faculty of International Studies) gave her thanks to AEON's support and shared about her dreams with the representatives of AEON.
After that, AEON's representatives briefly discussed about their recruitment experiences and listened to the student's thoughts and aspirations.
