The two sides discussed about the potential for cooperation in the near future and agreed to exchange students through short–term courses in Korean Studies at Daejin University and Vietnamese studies at USSH. It was expected that one meeting aimed at discussing academic, staff and student exchanges would be organized in October 2013. USSH also offered to cooperate with Daejin University to hold an international conference in 2014.
The Rectors of two universities also agreed on their process of cooperation and diversifying their activities to promote their effectiveness and mutual benefits.
The USSH and Daejin University officially signed MOU in 2012. Daejin University is a private university in South Korea and founded in 1992. It specializes in researching and training social sciences and humanities, arts, technology and religion. At present, there are more than 8000 undergraduate and 2000 post-graduate students. The university also has two campuses in China with totally 1000 students.
